A new approach to Holy, Holy

Want to hear a song?  Sure you do.  I don’t get to do much music, these days.  But, I have been working on a remake of the classic hymn for a couple of months.  Tonight, with the holidays and all, I have been able to finish the mix and I thought I’d share it with you.  I sang it and played all the instruments, with the exception of the guitar solo, which my friend and neighbor, Nathan, played.

Is there an album in the works? 🙂 The song leaves me with the feeling that another song is about to follow.

Tell Nathan his guitar work gives an “Eagles” flavor to the interlude.

Very soulful take … or maybe it is the fact I listened while working with 2 Peter 1:10.

    Thank you

Very nice! Changing the tune helps us to focus on the words which we sometimes forget to do with extremely familiar songs.

I just want to say that it was kind of hip for an old guy. Great minor vibe to major words. Nice guitar work and bringing the drums in was a great touch.
