Well, I think it’s safe to say that a mighty fine time was had by all the folk who joined us last weekend.  Good messages, good fellowship, good food, and good company.  What more can you ask?  As of today, it sounds like everyone got home safely (aside from those who chose to hang around Smyrna for a few days).  So, I’m very grateful.

I was privileged to be at the Embracing the Truth Conference 2017 last week.  I taught for three mornings.  God was good.  My health held out, my voice didn’t wain too much, and I got to see friends and brothers who I only get to visit with a couple times a year.  So, all in all, a mighty good week.

In the meantime, here are my three presentations.  The third day, the ear-mounted microphone gave me some trouble.  That’s the cause for the various clicks and pops.  But, I think the audio is still quite listenable.

My daughter and I had a very good trip to Ohio and back.  We spent Saturday with the fine folk of Riverside Bible Church in Columbus.  They treated us like family …. you know, the way Christians do.  🙂

I spoke for more than three hours, reviewing the teaching that I have called “The Sovereignty Series.”  To our regular listeners, most of this will sound familiar.  But, we spoke about God’s sovereignty in suffering, in prayer, and briefly, in salvation.  Here is the audio of that day’s teaching.

By the end, my voice was getting tired and raspy.  But, I appreciate all the folk who stuck around to the bitter end.

On Sunday afternoon, Meg and I visited the Cincinnati Zoo.  Great zoo, by the way.  Photos are forthcoming.  Then, we drove home that evening.  Long day.  Really long day.  Have I mentioned what along day it was?

But, all in all, a mighty fine weekend.
